וְשָׁ֣בוּ אֵלֶ֗יךָ בְּכָל־לְבָבָם֙ וּבְכָל־נַפְשָׁ֔ם בְּאֶ֥רֶץ אֹיְבֵיהֶ֖ם אֲשֶׁר־שָׁב֣וּ אֹתָ֑ם וְהִֽתְפַּֽלְל֣וּ אֵלֶ֗יךָ דֶּ֤רֶךְ אַרְצָם֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר נָתַ֣תָּה לַאֲבוֹתָ֔ם הָעִיר֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר בָּחַ֔רְתָּ וְהַבַּ֖יִת אֲשֶׁר־בנית [בָּנִ֥יתִי] לִשְׁמֶֽךָ׃
lalu mereka berbalik kepada-Mu dengan segenap hati dan segenap jiwa mereka di negeri musuh-musuh yang telah menawan mereka, dan mereka berdoa kepada-Mu ke arah negeri mereka yang telah Kauberikan kepada nenek moyang mereka, ke arah kota yang telah Kaupilih dan ke arah Rumah yang telah kubangun bagi nama-Mu,
Mishnah Berakhot
If he is riding on a donkey, he gets down [and prays.] If he is unable to get down he should turn his face [towards Jerusalem], and if he cannot turn his face, he should direct his heart to the Holy of Holies.
